The eternal greats of classical music are flashes of cultural brilliance, jam–packed with patterns, pyrotechnics and musical explosions of colour and light that have never lost their sparkle. Wouldn't it be amazing if you could see all this as well as hear it?

Well that's exactly what you get with the Classical Spectacular at the Albert Hall. This is the classical music concert for your eyes as well as your ears. Imagine Verdi's Grand March from Aida to a synchronised laser light show, or Strauss's Blue Danube Waltz or Also Sprach Zarathustra in rhapsodies of iridescent sky blue.

RAVEL Bolero

ELGAR Nimrod (the Cenotaph Remembrance theme)

ORFF O Fortuna (aka the Old Spice advert)

PUCCINI O soave fanciulla (from La Bohème)

STRAUSS Blue Danube Waltz (2001 A Space Oddysey)

ROSSINI William Tell Overture (The Lone Ranger)

VERDI Grand March from Aida

TCHAIKOVSKY Swan Lake Finale

VERDI Brindisi from La Traviata

STRAUSS Also Sprach Zarathustra (2001 A Space Oddysey)

MASCAGNI Intermezzo & Easter Hymn from Cavalleria Rusticana

Also: Hornpipe, Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory and the 1812 Overture, with thundering cannons and indoor fireworks

Performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, this is no sombre and highbrow occasion, but a fun event where you'll recognise more of the pieces than you realise. For instance, Ravel's Bolero was made famous by ice skating stars Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, Rossini's William Tell Overture is best known as The Lone Ranger's theme tune and of course Zarathustra was the main theme to the legendary Kubrick film '2001, A Space Odyssey'.

What with twelve of the best–loved classical pieces of all time plus old favourites like Hornpipe, Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory and a finale of fireworks, cannons and the 1812 Overture, you're in for a thundering good time! With this great Omega break you also get return rail travel, choice of 4 star central London hotel with English breakfast, and some free time to explore London too.
